We are not planning to sell the plastic rimmed 3D glasses at this time because according to many reports, the cardboard rimmed glasses are actually better than the plastic glasses for 3D viewing on computers. However, the manufacturers of the plastic glasses claim to have better light filtration from computer screens with theirs but many viewers and 3D experts report that the cardboard rimmed glasses actually do an overall better job because plastic lens are not as good as the colored film in the cardboard glasses for 3D. So until the matter is resolved officially by some official opthamological group, we will only sell the cardboard rimmed glasses.

The Need for 3D Glasses is the Major Hindrance to the Advancement of 3D Imaging on the Internet

One of the main problems which prevents stereoscopic 3D images from becoming a prevalent venue with the internet public is the necessity of wearing the proper filtering glasses in order to focus and view the image's particular 3D format on computers. This is because very few people have 3D glasses in their possession when they're using their desktop, laptop or tablet computers. And since one particular standard format for 3D images has never been established, there are quite a few different 3D formats around. Therefore, there are quite a few different kinds of special 3D glasses needed to focus and view each of these formats. So the need to have both the correct format of glasses and easy access to them when you're at your computer or tablet has been the main reason why the 3D imaging venue has not advanced much on the internet.

To help with this problem we are here promoting only 2 of today's many formats for our 3D imaging....

Because the 3D Piku - Piku format allows us to show you our photos in decent 3D without the need for you to wear any glasses to focus and view them, we use them to preview all of our anaglyph format photos that do require you to wear 3D glasses. So, if you do not have a pair of our glasses yet or both of yours eyes are not functional you can still enjoy our 3D photos without them.

But bear in mind that the anaglyph 3D photos show you greater depths within their illusion of 3D. Also they will show you out- of-screen shots which the Piku - Piku images cannot, so to us the anaglyph shots are preferable. Unfortunately, anaglyph iamages require you to wear red - cyan lensed glasses in order to focus and view them and these are not the easiest glasses to find in stores. We know, because we searched all over the Chicagoland area ourselves, trying to find a store that sells them and we could not find one! Now if someone in a big city like Chicago can't find a single store that sells them, what does that say about finding them in stores in other parts of the country? They can be found and purchased in bulk on the internet but just not in local stores.

We believe that everyone really needs to have at least one pair of red - cyan glasses handy to their computer just so that they can enjoy anaglyph stereoscopic photos and / or videos as they encounter them on the internet. So to this end, we are making it possible here for people to easily obtain 1 free pair of cardboard framed red - cyan glasses or to easily purchase more inexpensively from us.
